Approach
I’m a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC). I have experience in working with individuals and families affected by bereavement and grief, cancer, and other physical health conditions. I also have an interest in supporting people affected by mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety (including OCD, panic disorder, health anxiety and trauma), and life adjustments across the lifespan.
I understand that if you are struggling with your psychological wellbeing it can feel difficult or daunting to reach out for support. My approach values us working together to understand what may be happening and in thinking about what is important to you. I value working collaboratively, with transparency and compassion.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained in a variety of models and approaches and typically work with an integrated approach. This means that I use skills and knowledge from across my training to best support you. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Systemic Therapy.
